Payout Status
You may encounter multiple payment statuses when viewing the payouts for your stories. These indicate the current state of any particular payout and are described below.

For any questions around your payout status, please contact our support team. For statuses that are not success or deferred specifically, please reach out to PayPal first, as these are generally indicative of a problem with your PayPal account.

Status | Description |
|---|---|
Deferred | Your payout for this payout period did not exceed the minimum payout threshold. You will receive all of your accummulated revenue in the first payout period that exceeds the threshold. |
Reversed | This payout was incorrectly assigned to your account. |
Refunded | The payout was refunded back to Novellea by you. |
Blocked | This payout has been blocked by PayPal. |
Onhold | This payout is being reviewed by PayPal and is on hold. |
Unclaimed | This payout cannot complete until you have completed signing up for your PayPal account. You have 30 days to complete the sign up process and claim the payout. Unclaimed payouts are returned to Novellea. |
Returned | This payout was unclaimed for 30 days and was returned to Novellea. Returned payouts cannot be repaid. |
Pending | This payout is being processed. Please check back later. |
Failed | This payout has failed. |
Success | This payout has completed successfully. |
